Our assessments are designed to ascertain your readiness to plant a church and give you a growth plan that will equip you with the coaching and resources you need to build the competencies to lead well in the days ahead.

Our assessments are not designed to “score” you, but to help you see where you are ready, and where you need to grow. Our assessments are not information-based, but are competency-based. We want to help you be ready to “do” what you need to do to lead well, not just pass a test on do you have the information that you should.

Our assessment will go through 6 key competencies:

  • Calling

  • Social Skills

  • Communication

  • Emotional/Spiritual Health

  • Leadership

  • Fundraising

These are action-oriented and times of peak learning. If you’re interested in planting a church then assessment is a must; or you might just want to go through assessment to see how close or far you are from being ready to plant a church and to know where you can grow in general as a leader.

Albuquerque, NM – October 13-15, 2022

A Church Planting/Multi-Site Campus Pastor Assessment is being held Thursday evening-Saturday, October 13-15 @ Valley Church of the Nazarene, Albuquerque, NM.

This 2-1/2-day assessment is designed to evaluate future Church Planters & Campus Pastors’ readiness and capacity for launching new starts – either through church planting or through a multi-site approach (spouses of those being assessed are required to attend the assessment and participate in all activities but are not being assessed themselves).

The cost is:
$225.00 (Registration Only – Single Candidate)
$275.00 (Registration Only – Married Candidate w/spouse)
$475.00 (Registration with Lodging @ Group Hotel – Single Candidate)
$525.00 (Registration with Lodging @ Group Hotel – Married Candidate with Spouse)

Piqua, OH – Thursday evening-Saturday, November 10-12, 2022

A Church Planting/Multi-Site Campus Pastor Assessment is being held Thursday evening-Saturday, November 10-12 @ The Valley Church, in Piqua, OH.

This 2-1/2-day assessment is designed to evaluate future Church Planters & Campus Pastors’ readiness and capacity for launching new starts – either through church planting or through a multi-site approach (spouses of those being assessed are required to attend the assessment and participate in all activities but are not being assessed themselves).

The cost of the assessment is $200. This will cover part of the cost of accommodations, food, snacks, and materials. Note: most districts will cover all or part of the cost of the Assessment. Meals will be provided on-site for Friday (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and Saturday (breakfast and lunch). Hotel rooms will be provided Thursday and Friday evenings.
